Is it posable to make a deb, with a bash script to execute?

Hey guys
Currently i have a very large bash file, with alot of commands in it to execute on a newly installed machine.

i have given the file to our technicians on a USB pen, they then need to move to the desktop, and then give it execution rights.

they are getting pretty tired of that, when they got alot of machines to do it on every day.

so i was wondering, if it was posable to make a deb-file with a bsh script inside it? then i could expands our script to include more then 1 file even

or is there a better way to resolv this?

For a simple package, I'd use the old pkgtool2

> pkgtool2_2.2.1-2_all.deb

Make a directory tree in a new empty folder, like
usr/bin/my-script.sh
.. And : cd <new-folder>/ ; # pkgtool2

.

I find both approaches, making it a .deb-file and running it from USB, rather counterintuitive. If it is a script that has to be run on a newly installed machine, why not use preseeding and integrate the script into the installation process to run it automatically?
