Is it a glitch?

I've been playing around with some settings in Mandrake Linux 9.1 and I've noticed that after unloading all the unused modules from the kernel space, the MDK Control Centrel simply hangs if I want to load it. Has anyone noticed this?

just because the module says unused, doesn't mean
unneeded. the MDK control center probably needs one
of the modules you unloaded.
look at the list of modules without removing anything,
then start the MDK control center, then reload the list
of modules. you should see a change.
