IS GNOME-PIM a common app?

Hi, I wanted to install a organizor similar to outlook...calender, adress book, todo list, etc. without the email perferably, (since I like thunderbird) and as much bloat-free as possible (Was there EVER an app with as much bloat as Outlook??)

Anyway, I use GNOME (on RH9), and I found GNOME-PIM which seemed to be what I need. It is pretty spartan, but seems ot be pretty good. WHat do other people use? Evolution is what was recommended in my searches on this forum, but it is email-primary and from the comments, is not bloat-free.

In GNOME-PIM-in the adress book app, is there a way to change the default person? since the default file seems to be missing, and it is annoying every time i restart it to open my file.

Thanks for your input!

Ok, the default problem fixed itself up...

But my question still stands

Do most people use Evolution?
What do people who done't use Evolution for e-mail use?
The KDEOrganizor or GNOME-PIM? Or something else? I would like to knwo the options ;)
