IS GNOME-PIM a common app?
Hi, I wanted to install a organizor similar to outlook...calender, adress book, todo list, etc. without the email perferably, (since I like thunderbird) and as much bloat-free as possible (Was there EVER an app with as much bloat as Outlook??)
Anyway, I use GNOME (on RH9), and I found GNOME-PIM which seemed to be what I need. It is pretty spartan, but seems ot be pretty good. WHat do other people use? Evolution is what was recommended in my searches on this forum, but it is email-primary and from the comments, is not bloat-free. In GNOME-PIM-in the adress book app, is there a way to change the default person? since the default file seems to be missing, and it is annoying every time i restart it to open my file. Thanks for your input! |
Ok, the default problem fixed itself up...
But my question still stands Do most people use Evolution? What do people who done't use Evolution for e-mail use? The KDEOrganizor or GNOME-PIM? Or something else? I would like to knwo the options ;) |
Sorry to bumb, but anyone?
