Is console printer configuration possible with Fedora 12?

Hi. I can configure my printer settings using system-config-printer but how can I do that in a console? I like to be able to do as much as possible in a console without X. Maybe there are some text configuration files I can edit? Does anybody know? I'm using CUPS. Thanks.
