IRAF prompt cl - how do I set up key bindings?

I'm using IRAF (Image Reduction and Analysis Facility) on a slackware 10.1 system. It functions in an xgterm, and gives a cl> prompt. It uses a lot of the same commands as a standard xterm, but a few key commands - specifically, backspace, up (previous command), and tab (autocomplete), don't work.

I was able to fix the backspace issue using a guide (I can't post the URL, but it's the first thing that shows up on a google search for 'backspace iraf'). However, there doesn't appear to be an stty optioon for previous command or autocomplete. Also, while the up key gives ^P in response to "echo ctrl-v up", tab returns nothing, so I don't know how I would bind that even if I knew what command to bind it to.

I've found nothing on this topic through google searches or searches of these forums, so any help is appreciated.

I use xgterm, and never had the problem you mentioned. I think your problem will be resolved if you update.
Infact even if I call cl directly from the konsole, I never had any problem.
