ipop3d ... Not getting mail
 

Hello I am using Fedora Redhat. Normally I do not do the RedHat deal, but I figured I'd give it a try.

I am trying to setup a mail server. I am able to send mail out using sendmail to anyplace i want. However I am not able to recieve mail on my pop3. I am using ipopd as the pop3 daemon.

I can send an email to my self and recieve it just fine. But recieving emails from outside my network is not working. I am also not getting a "non-delivery" msg either.

IS there something I am missing?

BTW I do have port 110 open for POP3

Did you ever find a solution to this?
I'm currently trying to figure it out as well.
I can start ipop3d as a background process, but when I try to connect to it from my local computer (using Outlook), I get "cannot connect to server".

Are you behind a router? Did you port forward 110 to your pop3 server box?
