ipod nano directories


any idea on wherfe to create playlist etc where i can load mp3 songs on ipod nano and see them on the ipod?

i can as su copy songs to for example /iPod_Control/iTune/f01 but do not see the song under any category on the ipod nano
is it posssible to crete playlists manuall from linux store songs in it and see the playlkist you have,created?

iPods (nano, mini, and 'regular') all have an internal database that stores details about playlists and music information, but the work of figuring out how to handle them has been taken care of for you. Check out a program called 'gtkpod'.
