IP and networking on Suse
having recently started programming MUD's (multi-user dungeons) on linux (specifically ROM 2.4) I was wanting to put it up on my network for testing with multi-loggins
My network is a small 3 computer network (not including the one running the MUD) with a linksys wireless-g router. all the computers run windows though and I was not sure how to find the ip address on linux that the other computers would need to connect to. any help on this would be appreciated.
On each server just type "ifconfig" to see the configured IP addresses.
Ignore the lo0 (127.0.0.1) and sit0 if you see them. Usually you're interested eth0 as the primary. (eth# assumes it is an ethernet interface of course)
