I am from a small village on the North West Coast of Canada. I'm a new user to linux, 4 months old. I've been able to create a web server, file server and working on a networking monitoring and software inventory server.

I'm trying to convince my community to make a switch and use open source. One area of interest is for a small warehouse that they use for construction material. They have a difficult time maintaining an up to date paper trail. I thought there must be an open source solution out there. I've done some searching but mainly came up with software inventory, eCommerce and large scale inventory. Does anyone know of any sort of warehouse inventory application in open source?

Tried source forge... so many to look at... but most have to do with Sales and Inventory for large corporations...

looking for a nice clean inventory program that can use be networked between an old warehouse and the small administration office.

even something that uses bar codes would be great! has anyone used such a program with linux?
