Intrusion Detection System in NS2
 

I'm doing project in IDS in ns2. I'm working in centos 5. Now I'm creating a protocol based on network based INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM in ns2.34. Tcl script includes both IDS nodes and AODV nodes.IDS nodes executes IDS protocol and AODV nodes execute AODV protocol.
I want IDS protocol nodes to receive packets from AODV nodes and process according to it. can anyone help me in doing this..

My knowledge concerning the use of OADV is small, however the problem you are experiencing is one of the problems being experienced by many on the development side. Some of the articles I read are above my head but the consensus seems to be that much work needs to be done to get this protocol to connect to other protocols that are not wireless. I know this doesn't help much but it seems you have a lot of reading and testing to do.
