Internet Radio - Save To Disk

Hi,

I'd like to now if I can save the stream of any internet radio broadcaster to disk in mp3-format? How do I do that in general?

I don't think anybody has been able to secessfully do that yet w/ MP3 / WMA streaming. Awhile ago there was a program for windows called VCR that would let you save real' video / audio streams to your harddrive, but because of legalities they were forced to stop. I don't think anybody has put any effort into it after that.

There are various Windows solutions that do the job quiet decent. A bit hard to find, but they are there. Freeamp or SilentBob to name a few...
