I have installed Red Hat linux 8.0 .I have also configured squid 2.4 as the proxy server . I am using the 24onlineclient software to login to the ISP server.The 24onlineclient is for a 24 hr persistent connection. But I have been experiencing a problem.The 24online client logs out after some time and i have to reenter the password again to login, that time period is however not definite.Sometimes it logs out after 15 minutes and sometimes after 45 minutes.So i wish to know whats the exact reason behind this.Is it something to do with squid's timeout settings.Any help in this regard will be highly apppreciated. i am looking forward to the solution which will resolve the problem i am facing right now.Please help me in this regard.

hmmm...well if you suspect squid to be behind this you could shut down squid entirely and see if your connection still goes down. If it doesn't go down then squid is probably the problem.
