Interactive shell scripting

Can anyone tell me how and when and where "Interactive Shell Scripting" began? Thank you.

I've never heard of anything specifically called "interactive" scripting.

Would you care to explain what you mean by it, and give us some background context for your request?

Reply to question on interactive shell scripting

As a student in the Linux Scripting class a Georgia Piedmont Technical college i was tasked by Dr Meadors to do a project. I selected the topic from the List that he CREATED at school. I don't know where he got the name, but it came directly from him.

Pretty much when Unix was created (assuming this is a Unix qn); you can google that date
NB: Linux was created much later ... so there could be more than one answer, depending on context
