Question Instant messaging for linux

Hello people,

Just a short one, I am currently running a dual boot system (WinME alongside SuSe 8.1), and I wondered which Instant messaging program you would recommend.

The most important thing to me is that I would need to be able to access MSN Instant messaging as many of my contacts use that service.

Also, lol, I am a relative noob when it comes to linux, so the easier it is to install, the better

Thanks in advance for your help,

Gary.

Gaim works great for me, you can find it at http://gaim.sourceforge.net

Note: The MSN-service requires SSL. If you don't have SSL on you computer you can find it at http://www.openssl.org

Good luck.
