Installing xlc on CentOS5 - where do I find it?
 
I'm trying to install MudOS for a buddy of mine, it looks like I need xlc on this system which I'm currently lacking.

The system is CentOS 5 - 64bit.

I've done a 'yum search xlc' and didn't see anything that looked promising. And I searched up google, and all I can gather is this is an IBM compiler? Not quite sure.

If someone can tell me if there is a way to install this through yum or where to get it by rpm or source, I'd really appreciate it.

Just a shot in the dark but xlc MAY be short for xalan-c (which is in the repo).

When you post asking for help on stuff post a link to the software you are asking about. In this case there are two distinct entities which go by MudOS and we have no way of telling which you are referring to.
