installing x-cd-roast


i just recently installed linux, and i downloaded and installed x-cd-roast to burn cds. but when i open it, it says "No root configuration file found or not readable! The superuser must start and configure X-CD-Roast first, before other users can use it."
how do i configure it?

step 1. log on as root

step 2. start x-cd-roast

step 3. click setup

4. setup everything (its all pretty sefl explanitory)

5. click "save configuration"

that should be it, log back in as yourself and it should work

sorry if i missed something, im going from memory

If you are still having problems with xcdroast you might want to give k3b a try.

What do you mean??? Man forget X-CD roast, de-install that crap as fast as you can, it's a waste of time and energy. k3b is so much easier, and has much more functionality... not to mention drag-n-drop support, so you can simply drag your files to k3b to be burned.
