Installing wine in Debian

You know, Debian doesn't provide the lastest version of Wine.
So, i tried, to compile the last version manually, downloading the source code.
I went into /winexxxx/tools and i executed ./wineinstall.

One hour after the compiler (during the make) showed me some error.
In Internet i found there's a bug but i don't know how to patch this.
The other solution is to install openldab-devel.
I chose to install this but during the install this library need Berkeley DB.

So i downloaded and installed succesfully Berkeley but i can't install openldab .. the error is the same :" Berkeley DB not available .."

How can I install wine20050830 without any problems in Debian?

Thaaaaaanks!

you could edit sources.list and add :

deb http://wine.sourceforge.net/apt/binary/ ./

then:
apt-get update
apt-get install wine
