installing wine


im following the instructions on installing wine, once i got done wit tar'in it i then did the ./configure and then when that was done it told me to make it or something, but it game me the code which was something like "make && something" or somethin like that, so i did that and now is been installing for like 15 minutes is this normal?


because some parts i can almost swear its already installed it, and its looping or something, but im not shure

Yes, it does take for ever to compile/install wine, so this is normal.
