Installing Ubuntu over Suse
I have XP & Suse linux 10.2 on my 40GB HDD. XP is in 35 GB while Suse is in 5 GB. Now I want to replace/overwrite Suse with my new stunning Ubuntu Distro.
How do I do it? Can I just overwrite it on 5GB partition? Will Ubuntu installer take care of the rest? I use AMD X2 processor with 1GB of RAM. |
During installation, tell Ubuntu to install to the SuSE partition. Ubuntu should offer you the option of formating the partition, probably in the form of a check box. Select format, and Ubuntu will format the partition before installing.

Thanks Dude! I was able to remove Suse completely.
