installing Transcode from source

I installed trancode beta3 from source. I attempted to install a number of optional packages with some success others failed due to missing files. I ran the command:

[dad@localhost brad_vst_may_05]$ transcode -i brad_kneeboard.mpeg -V -y mpeg -Fd -Z 352x240 --export_fps 29.970 --export_asr 2 -E 48000 -b 224 -o brad_kneeboard
*** WARNING: The option -V is deprecated. ***
*** Transcode internal frame handling is now in YV12 / YUV420 ***
*** format by default because most codecs can only handle this format,

*** otherwise leading to unnecessary time and quality wasting conversions. ***
*** If you want to have to "old" behaviour (RGB24 as internal format),
***
*** then please use the new -1/--use_rgb option *** transcode v1.0.0beta3 (C) 2001-2003 Thomas Oestreich, 2003-2004 T.

I apparently didn't get the correct optional package installed. I don't have the "export_mpeg.so" file.

Anyone know which one it is or what went wrong.

It's actually part of transcode - but it depends on
ffmpeg, without it it won't compile.

Cheers,

But I have ffmpeg. Transcode requires it to compile as you say. Still there is no export_mpeg.so. do I need to compile it with the optional package libpostproc maybe?
