I had updated a linux box from RH6 to RH7 because, after a hard-drive failure, it seemed the logical thing to do. Unfortunately my dhcp server did not work properly on RH7.0 so I want 6.0 back. On the new HD which I had RH7 on I am unable to complete a custom installation of RH6 and the server installation boots with a kernel panic. The hard drive is a quantum and it is 10Gigs. Is there any known problems with using RedHat 6.0 with such a large drive?
