Installing RecordMyDesktop libogg no such file or directory

I wanted to have a screen capture program in order to make some video tutorials for programming. I looked around and RecordMyDesktop seemed to be the best choice. But whenever I tried to run it, it says, "error while loading shared libraries: libogg.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". I installed liborgg 1.2.2 already so I don't know what the problem is.

Edit: Downloading a different version got it to work: http://pkgs.org/slackware-13.37/slac....txz/download/

Where did you get your copy of recordmydesktop? If installing a 32 bit version of libogg helps to solve your problem (which isn't good practise, use compat32pkg for that) that means you have most likely installed a 32 bit version of recordmydesktop. Use the SlackBuild from SBo and you should be fine without installing any 32 bit library. Installing 32 bit libraries makes only sense if there is absolutely no way to get the program you need in 64 bit.
