Question Installing Ponyprog 2000 in Mandriva 2010.2

Hi All....
I am using Mandriva 2010.2 and i tried installing Ponyprog2000 by installing it from its site. The problem that i am facing now is i cant be able to install it clearly / neatly. There are three paths given and i am having a doubt that whether have i entered the path correctly.
This is the format of the path to be provided ....
"
HOMEV - should point to your v absolute path
LINUX_HEADERS - should point to your current kernel headers
INSTALL_PREFIX - where to install the executable
"
And i have given ....
"
HOMEV = /home/test3/PonyProg2000-2.07c/v
LINUX_HEADERS = /usr/include/linux
INSTALL_PREFIX = /bin/
"

The error that i am facing is..
"
[test3@earth PonyProg2000-2.07c]$ make
cd v; make vlib
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/test3/PonyProg2000-2.07c/v'
cd srcx ; make

The words "doubt" and "question" mean two different things.

Your error has nothing to do with your path. You don't have the g++ program installed....install it via your online repositories.

Or may be : # urpmi ponyprog2000

Or use the "Package Installer" for the install.

'ponyprog2000' version 2.07c-1mdv2010.0 is in the contrib repo :
Mandriva/official/2010.1/i586/media/contrib/release

( ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/Linux/distrib...010.0.i586.rpm )

EDIT : Just to confirm, that the package installs OK on Mandriva 2010.2
using "Install / Remove Programs" = /usr/bin/rpmdrake

..
