Installing PHPwith apache/mysql
 

I am tring to install a e-learning project that requires apache/mysql/php.
apache was installed in my Rh7,1 installation,
i added mysql and remove progresql from the setup menu in system services,
as for PHP it seems that it was already installed with RH but installing the projet didn't work.
Everything lead me to that php thing... I desided to download the new php from www.php.net and to install it. Fallowing the install procedure (verbose install for dummy like me).

i checked for compiled-in modules:
i have http_core.c and mod_so.c present, doing httpd -l command.

./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs can't find the path.
Does that mean that apxs is not installed?
How can i check?
What is apxs?

Here are my findings...
apxs is parts of a apache_devel package
i search www.redhat.com and i just can'T FIND IT.

i SEARch on www.apache.org and i Just cAn'T find IT!
