Installing Oracle9i database on Redhat Linux 7.3

I was trying to install oracle 9i on Redhat linux 7.3 OS that i have it on my Inspiron 4150 laptop. But in the begining of installation of Oracle 9i itself i started getting some problems saying 'end of communication channel' erro when itried to unzip the files. I had downloaded the Oracle 9i software for linux from OTN site.
Would anyone help me in this regard?

I installed oracle 9.2.0.1.0 install Redhat 7.3 successfully on a Dell 330 workstation and did not encounter that error.

I did see that error mentioned in the oracle forum.

do a forum search otn.oracle.com
