I'm new to Linux and i have installed the Red Hat Linux 6.2 and i need help installing the Nvidia Gforce2 mx video card Drivers!! I've down loaded the Drivers, but i need help with what directory to move them to install them in so when i attempt to install them they are in the right directory?? I also need help editing the XF86CONFIG file?? The drivers that i've downloaded are Nvidia_kernal-0.9-6.rh62.i386.rpm and Nvidia_glx-0.9-6.i386.rpm!! At this time all i have is the console prompt environment. Installing these Drivers will allow me to start the DeskTop X Windows System/Gnome/Kde Graphical Environments. Any help that anyone can provided will be greatly appreciated..Thanks..James P.S. According to Nvidias web site these are the right drivers for Red Hat 6.2 Operating System and the Nvidia Gforce2 mx card..

xfree86.org would be a good starting point. The drivers usually live in /usr/X11/bin (at least on my suse boxes)
but y'all are gonna hafta get some learnin' in ya for some XF86Config swabbin'.
