Installing Mplayer

I run fedora core 1 and am trying to install mplayer with the rpm's on the website. But it just doesnt work. When I try to install the packages they cant install because they need some other packages and when I try to install them they need the first one and so on. Why? And how do I install it?

Hello!

I run FC1 too. I downloaded all rpms for mplayer and run this rpm -i *.rpm in the folder where i download them. I had the same problem, 'cause the rpms needed some libraries, so you have to download them too. Download them in some directorie and use rpm -i *.rpm. Run the mplayer installation and it should work.
If not, post the errors plz.

Why don't you want to compile by your self mplayer?

Hope I could help!

Cheers, Boby

This doesn't make any sense. Post full mplayer -v movie.avi output.
