Installing more Linux distros - Grub settings help

Hi all,
I've installed Suse 9.3 with Windows XP. I've seen the Ubuntu 6.06 demo and I love it. So I'd like to install Ubuntu as third OS.
Now I've installed Suse GRub in the mbr, since it was the only way to make Suse working. I think I can use Yast partition tool or PArtition Magic in Windows Xp to make room for Ubuntu, then Install it by using the image I've burnt in a dvd.
The problem is how to set grub in order to recognize the presence of Ubuntu?

Thanks in advance.
Enrico

Install Ubuntu to its own partition. Install grub for Ubuntu into that partition as well. It will write the grub config file for booting Ubuntu.

Then mount the Suse partition and edit the Suse /boot/grub/menu.lst. Copy the config from Ubuntu and paste it into Suse's menu.lst. The only part you need to copy/paste is the menu entry for Ubuntu; not the entire config file.

I've installed ubuntu and suse correctly. Unlike suse, ubuntu doesen't ask me for info about network settings, so i can't connect internet with ubuntu. What's wrong? How can I set my internet connection?

Maybe I'm seeking for an utility such as kinternet or kppp. I'm very new to gnome. Can I use it to connect the Internet of course but how to?
