Installing Mesa & Mesa-demos...

I've just installed new drivers from nvidia.com...
And I want to test my card's FPS now with gears (a part of Mesa-demos). I've Installed Mesa-4.0.2 and downloaded Mesa-demos-4.0.2.
But There is no Makefile in Mesa-Demos... And I don't know how install it... If anybody knows how to do it reply me plz...

p.s. Is there any other fps-testing progs?
p.p.s. sorry for my bad english...

There are mesa rpm's on the first mandrake cd, however, mesa will conflict with the nvidia drivers unless you install the nvidia drivers after mesa and run nv_check.sh to check the nvidia install before you startx.

mesa demo installation

Hello Dude,

I got same problem here, I'm experimenting with mesa stuff and want to see how it works. I downloaded the mesa demo stuff and performed the installation routines. After that, just create the object file you want ex."make glxgear". then run glxgear. I pressumed you have configured, intalled and loaded the config in your system.

hope this help,

ony
