Installing MDK 10.1 on Packare-Bell Imedia 5053

I have a DVD of Mandarke 10.1 community edition which I got from a magazine cover. I have succesfully installed it on one machine, but when I try to boot the DVD on a Packard Bell Imedia 5053, it succesfully scans all my hardware, then I get a black screen with a line at the bottom saying "Loading, please wait", and the machine freezes.

What is wrong here, and what do I have to do to correct it?
