I am currently running Debian 3.0 but ive decided that I would like to install Mandrake Linux. The only problem with this is that I dont have a floppy drive on my laptop (its an external drive and i cant seem to be able to find it) and I also dont have the Mandrake CD's.

I was wondering if there was a way of installing mandrake from within Debian using the internet.

I have broadband internet so im not worried about the speed of the internet. I also have unlimited traffic so Im not worried about how much traffic it uses. I just want to know if it is possible and how I would go about doing it.

If you have access to a CD writer, downloading the 8MB boot CD image and burning it to disk should provide an easy start to a network install. This boot.iso file is located in the official/10.0/i586/images subdirectory of your local Mandrake mirror.
