Unhappy Installing Linux 7.2 Through Dos 6.22


I NEED HELP!! I'M TRYING TO INSTALL LINUX 7.2. ALL I HAVE IS DOS 6.22. I HAVE AN OLD COMPAQ DESKPRO 4000, P200, 32RAM, 2.4 GB HD, CD-ROM. HELP PLEASE!!

You shouldn't have to install thru dos, can you boot your computer to a cdrom or boot disk ??

And is there a reason your typing in all CAPS.. some find that your either screaming at them and it comes off as being rude.

to boot from the cdrom I would have to get into the settings, which I can't. Most systems you hit F2. How do I get into the cmos settings on a Compaq Deskpro 4000?
