Yup, can't make this work. When booting I just get lotsof 40404040404040.... Mobo is Abit Be6-2 and hd is Maxtor Diamondmax 61.4GB on hpt366 ATA66 Controller. The root partition IS beyond 1024th but this shouldn't be a problem anymore ? Has someone done this with lilo or grub? lilo version is 21.6.1

Regards,
Pheno

I got the same problem on my Abit be6 with a western digital hard drive, except I don't get any anything but Redhat tells me that it can't find any fixed disks...
