Installing KPPP ERROR!

I am trying to install KPPP for Mandrake (KDE) so I can dial into the internet. I downloaded it and ...

The install instructions say run something called ./configure first to check it's compatible with my system

I did it and at the end I got this error:

Checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt >=1.42 (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

Any ideas what is wrong and how I can fix it?

Did you only download kppp, or did you try to get the entire network package?

KPPP is a part of the KDE network package and so should be on your install CDs. If not, you can go get it from RPMFIND .

install the QT heades and libraries....

the QT development packages are not installed by default,
check your disks for QT-devel or something to that effect.
