Question Installing kernel sourcein Fedora 3

I need some help installing the kernel source code for Fedora 3. When I go to install the source file it tells me that in can't be done in system configuration. In other words I have no idea what the hell I am doing. I need a step by step break down of the way this should work if possible. Any help would be great.

I have kernel version 2.6.9-1.667. The file I have for the source is kernel-2.6.9-1.667.src.rpm. thanks for the help.

I believe that's not the kernel source package, that's just a kernel package that's a src.rpm - 2 different animals. The kernel source should be named kernel-source-blah.blah.rpm, or perhaps Redhat is still doing their redhat-itized glibc-kernel-source-blah-blah.rpm.

I searched real hard for the kernel source but had no luck finding it in an RPM... What do you need the source for? You can get the kernel source in .tar.bz2 form at http://www.kernel.org.
