I am trying to install KDE on my RH8 system. By default i just installed GNOME. I went to this site:

http://download.kde.org/binarydownlo...dHat/8.0/i386/

after clicking the link it takes me to this mirror:

http://www.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu/pub/k...dHat/8.0/i386/

i have no idea what all this stuff is , can someone help?
thanks!

These are the rpm packages that need to be installed in order for KDE to work.
Why don't you install KDE from your Red Hat cd's?

I know it will be KDE 3.0 and 3.1 is available but I personally would feel more comfortable installing KDE from the cd's at first and then upgrade from the link you provided.
