installing gnome
need to know what to install exactly to install gnome (with gdm, etc) on a debian based linux.
I can't use debian mirrors, I can only use this (as it's a linux for ps2 and the one making the linux forced it to use that ...): http://playstation2-linux.com/blackrhino/pool/main/ but can use this with apt-get. I tried and had it working before but i lost everything cause of a huge hdd crash ... and don't remember how i did it. and need to know how to start it ... Thanks Nick |
You should just have to install the meta-package "gnome-core" through apt-get as you would any other package.
