Unhappy Installing GAIM


Does anyone know which versions og GAIM will install on Mandrake 7.2? the latest version has errors with certain Header files.

what header files?

can we keep using the same thread for the same issue in future. thanks

Runs through ./config fine
then when in make it says:

perl.c:39: EXTERN.h: No such file or directory
perl.c:43: perl.h: No such file or directory
perl.c:44: XSUB.h: No such file or Directory

before things about closing itself again.

well they are all from the perl-devel package. make sure it's installed.

Ta muchly, all sorted and now with a greater understanding of packages and whatnot!

Should be smooth for a while now
