Installing extra software from disk

After some setting-up of my Fedora 3 box, I decided to add some more software from the install disks. However, when I try to do so I get a dependancy problem where a package cannot be found. I'm not sure how this can be the case.

The "package not found" is:

libkabinterfaces.so.1

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi, you can download the corresponding rpm from this link. You can try to search it in http://fr.rpmfind.net if you do not wish to download it directly from the link I submitted.

Let me know how it goes.

Managed to find a workaround: Not installing the application that needed the file. I am downloading the application you listed. What I am curious about is HOW you knew which one I needed?

It's not really that difficult... I just know the link http://fr.rpmfind.net If you go there and search the "libkabinterfaces.so.1" file that is missing, you will get the rpm needed.... Try it your self! It's really funny! ;)
