Red face Installing DHCP


Hello,

I've downloaded DHCP for my redhat linux 7.3 server, it's a RPM

so i typed rpm -i dhcp.xxxxxxxx
but i get this error???

error: failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by dhcp-3.0pl1-23


can someone help me?

Looks like you need to get the G Library 2.3 installed before you put in your DHCP (you can install DHCP --nodeps but that's not recomended)

I'm trying to remember the sites most people use to download RPMs; I'm sure someone else here can point you to them. In any case, you're going to search for the GLIB_2.3 rpm file, and install it just as you would have the DHCP stuff. When that has completed and tested out OK, then install DHCP
