Hello guys, for about 1 month now i have been trying to fight with dansguardian and IPcop (Ver. 1.4.10).. and there is no way i can figure out how to install it on IPCop...

I went on IPCops website,,, they do have a tutorial but its in Italian and the page doesnt open up. I tried to do some searching on google, i didnt get far with that either.

Has anyone sucessfully installed dansguardian on IPCop ? if so.. can you lend me a hand ? thank you!!

Although I have no idea how to do what you want to do, here are some suggestions on how to find your answer:

Look at it as a dansguardian & not an IPcop Q. Look for help through dansguardian, not @ ipcop.org.

For instance:

yields:
"Results 1 - 100 of about 47,900 English pages for dansguardian with Safesearch on"

and:
http://www.google.com/linux?num=100&...guardian+ipcop
yields:
"Results 1 - 58 of about 325 English pages for dansguardian ipcop with Safesearch on"

Some things to remember are:
Dan works (worked?) @ SmoothWall.
IPCop is based on SmoothWall.

So, dansguardian should work on IPCop & any dansguardian advice about SmoothWall may be the same for IPCop.

IPCop is no longer based on smoothwall, it is based on Linux From Scratch.

it is for version 1.3.something, but I am planning to test it and see if it works on 1.4.10.
