installing a firmware version of linux
 
I have unlimited downloads to certain firmwares of linux and I was woundering is there a way to make them install so that they would work on a normal pc ie desktop box the linux version is meant 4 thin clients but it can also be used 4 working as a desktop pc (windows gui like interface)

I don't quite see the point. Even if you could manage to make it run on a regular Intel compatible PC (assuming the thing clients would be x86-based) there are so many Linux distributions tailored for the desktop now. Don't you think those will do a better job? We all have unlimited access to them, it's free. :)
