Andrew, what Linux distribution are you using? And what desktop environment? You may want to click on the user cp icon at the top of this page and add your distribution to your member control panel. That helps people help you
For me, that would be Slackware 9.1 and the KDE desktop, version 3.1.4. To add the Netscrape icon to my quick launch bar at the bottom of the desktop, I would right-click in an empty space on the bar, then select
Application Button ->
Netscrape (Web Browser)
And if there's not enough room on the bar I would move the Taskbar applet handle and then the Pager applet handle over to the right a little to make room.
If you want to add it to the K Menu, then click on the K with the gear (same place as the Start button on that evil OS) and then select
and that will find the rascal and add it for you, I believe.
