Installation problems with either Suse or Fedora
Im not quite sure if this is a hardware or a software problem, but since the error message sounds like a software one, it will go in this forum.
Im trying to install Fedora Core 1 (actually i was trying to do Suse 9.0 but it came up with the same error so i tried fedora core 1 to try and see what happened) and it says that there is no OS installed on my HD. Well i know there isnt because its a blank HD. Im trying to install the OS...no wonder there isnt any OS...Anyway, so i put the cd in, set the bios to boot off the cd-rom first and it keeps trying to boot from the floppy drive...and idk how to fix this. I tried putting in a different cd-rom drive, so im pretty sure its not that. If anyone has any suggestions on how i could do it please let me know. I know there is a way to get a floppy disk with the boot info on it for computers that cant boot from the CD-ROM, and iv been googling trying to find it but i cant find that particular boot disk. Can someone please help.
Thank you very much.
