Installation problems of RH9 Oracle 9as
 

I'm trying to install Oracle 9AS 9.02.01 on RH 9, Kernel 2.4. Unfortunately, I have problem on problem. 1st was related to gclib, hopefully I solved putting assume_kernel 2.4, but next problems seem to be tougher. Has somebody been succeeded in installation of it?

i installed oracle developer suite successfully on Gentoo 1.4, sad to say, this went much better than my attempted install on Red Hat 9

Did you add: The Official Patch from Oracle glibc-2.1.3-stubs?

Oracle has created a set of stub libraries which are used at linkinstall-time only to mimic the contents of glibc-2.1.3 shared object.

If werner puschitz doesn't detail a RH9 installation for 9i, you may find help from my page describing 8.1.7 install on RH9.
