Installation of mplayer suse 10.0

I am a newb, and don't know the first thing about installation of packages.

I found these, in this forum but the explaination on installing them was more than vague.

I tried to download the rpm file from

packman.links2linux.de/?action=128

when I used YaST, it just gives me an error.

What can I do?

Hi,

here's what you do: run Yast, go to Software, and click Installation Source. Now choose Add and input repository there (in case of Pacman choose http protocol, server is packman.iu-bremen.de and directory on server is suse/10.0). Now open up Software Managment, find mplayer package and install it.
