Question Installation from 3.5" or network

Is it possible to install Linux on a machine that doesn't have a CD-player. It has a 3.5"-drive and is connected to a network.
Any ideas?

Install via ftp or NFS. Depends on where the source packages are. You can also install from a 'reachable' hard drive if you have a partition with your chosen ditro's packages in it.

You need to make some boot floppies depending on your install method.
