please do not use pink/purple colored text

assuming you DO have the required support contract
RHEL 5.9 is in testing
5.9 represents the end to normal "level 1" support

and this IS a headless server and gtk2 nor qt3 are installed

rtorrent should be in the RHN repo

rtorrent is a text terminal client
( no gui needed)

Code:
su -
yum search torrent
--- then from the list, install it ------
yum install rtorrent
if not then install the third party repo "rmpforge"

BUT heed EVERY AND ALL WARNINGS

RPMforge is INCOMPATIBLE !!!! with RHN upstream
you MUST MUST USE !!! yum-priaroites plugin and configure it!!!!!!!
or use " protectbase"
otherwise you WILL FUBAR ( look it up) your rhel5 install

then once the rpmforge reop is installed
install rtorrent -- see the above yum search
