Install Sublime text editor on PcLinuxOS

How do I install Sublime in PcLinuxOS? Sublime isn't listed among the packages on Synaptic. Do I go to Webupd8 and follow the Ubuntu instructions? Thanks.

Need Sublime

I was using Kate, but the teachers of my Python class basically demanded I use Sublime. For one thing, Sublime has the terminal command "subl ." (note, that's a space befor the period) which opens the current folder, with the first document in the folder displayed in the Sublime editing window, and the folder tree displayed in a left column. I am using Sublime on my Ubuntu machine, but I'd like to have it also on my PcLinuxOS machine. Apparently PcLinuxOS is rpm based. There must be a way of adding the Webupd8 Sublime repository to Synaptic. Thanks.

no, No. and NO.

Download it - http://c758482.r82.cf2.rackcdn.com/S...02.0.2.tar.bz2
Extract it. - bunzip2 $1
find and run the sublime_text executable in the extracted directory.
