Install Lan drivers without internet connection

Hey!

I unistalled gnome to install xfce4 on debian wheezy. Everything is ok, besides the wireless and lan drivers
that I guess were unistalled (now I'm without internet connection).

How can I reinstall these to have internet access again?

PS: I just have internet access in another OS that I have installed as dual boot.

Thanks in advance,
rafasa

Now it's working! Thank you very much!

To automatically do this on the startup, what should I do? Just add those commands to .bashrc?

It's a bit weird because commands like reboot, ifconfig, etc. just work in root mode. Even sudo does not work outside root. What should I do to have this fixed?

EDIT: Seems like all the drivers are off. Wireless and touchpad drivers are not working aswell.

Should normally be happening automatically with most distroes. Depends a little on the situation. Normally a "networkmanager" handles that stuff.

I think in debian you might have to install the network manager yourself. I have the same behaviour with Debian, but I am running the Netinstaller version with minimum software. I dont know if one is included in the normal cd version. Should be in DVD version for sure.

I solved the problem by the easiest way - install a lot of xfce4 packages. The command I used was:

Code:
apt-get install `apt-cache search xfce | cut -d ' ' -f1`
I still don't know exactly what the problem was, but I guess that when I uninstalled gnome I also uninstalled some packages I didn't want to or, at least, changed some PATH's.

Thank you again for your help.
